This show, with its combination of " music, images, and fragrances "
innovates and enchants
with the impact of its original music,
by the spellbinding magic of the fragrances
which accompany the sounds and exciting visual background,
by the originality of the aquatic and luminous decors.

interpreted live on stage by Nathalie Manser on the cello,
David Richards on the keyboards, Erdal Kizilcay on the drums, and a chorus of 200 children.

Originating from the "World Music" composed by Nathalie Manser, the virtuoso cello player, and David Richards (famous sound engineer of the group Queen and David Bowie), this show invites us on a colorful and fragrant trip around the world.
A journey through time, space, and the very core of the cultures which have marked our planet ;
A journey within ourselves where, thanks to the universal language of music, man rebecomes a messenger of hope, peace, and light.

With this music I would like to invite you on a journey. A journey through many places and times, different cultures and ultimately our inner selves. I believe music can lead us to this precious spiritual place where truth, hope and peace reign.

Let us follow these pioneers. They spoke of different lifestyles, a respect for Nature (Native Americans -  "Cherokee"), denounced oppression (Tibetans - "Tsuglag Khang"), defended their humanitarian values (Che Guevara - "Hasta Siempre"), and conquered space ("Discovery"). Often they simply revealed the hidden beauty in every one of us ("Les Anges). They are our guides, lighting the path on this living journey.

I hope this tribute will help bridge the gap between cultures. I hope it can be a musical moment where we are all nothing more than human. May it act as a call for responsibility, tolerance and love.

In honoring these various traditions, I aimed at building a bridge between these different cultures and ours, in order to perceive them   - for a moment in time - all belonging to the same race, the race of Mankind.

May this message be a call for love and tolerance.

Synopsis of the Concert

Geographical, historical, and symbolic all at once, the show leads us on a journey from the origins of life in the ocean (Polynesia), to cultures honoring nature (Native Americans, Africans), then to the awakening of oriental spirituality (Buddhism) and romantic love (Europe), the current expansion of Islam, to finish by a return to the primeval earth and humus (Amazonian Rainforest), from where a new world can be born.
The mandalas of these different cultures and the children's faces become the recurring theme of the show, suggesting that under this apparent diversity appears a deep unity.
The olfactive partition follows this journey and brings with it a new dimension of emotion : that of scent, which touches our deepest being by evoking our ancestoral memory,  the memory of the first human beings on earth.  It's a language to relearn to recontact our true nature and to discover a new artistic and poetic expression capable of opening the doors to our inner soul.

NATHALIE MANSER

NATHALIE MANSER, virtuoso cello player, has been brought up since her early childhood in the world of classical music. After having obtained a "1er Prix de Virtuosité with Jury's congratulations and the highest diploma of the State Musical Academy of Lausanne, the "Concert Licence" (studying under Philippe Mermoud), she had the opportunity to play with several orchestras in the French part of Switzerland and has continued her musical education by following Master Classes in Germany (Freiburg).
